A new tradition has developed at St. Clement's - the Jesus stuffie we were gifted by Becky Barnes has become an aid to thoughtful faith formation!
Each week a parishioner is invited to take Jesus home and invite him into their daily activities. The presence of Jesus - even a pretend Jesus - has provided food for thought (and fun, too!)
This past Sunday, our parishioner and paramedic Alison reported that Jesus watched the game with her (he must have cheered for the Oilers!) and rode along with her in her ambulance. She taught him CPR, figuring he should learn the "other way" of bringing people back to life! Thanks, Alison, for a great glimpse into your week with Jesus.
Don't be shy to put up your hand to take Jesus home with you one Sunday. It's a bit of fun - but it's also an interesting exercise to see how a reminder of Jesus-with-us can influence one's thoughts and actions over the course of one's week!
