Did you know that there are two Anglican newspapers written for our local and national community, intent on keeping Anglicans connected within the diocese, and from coast to coast to coast? And did you know that parishioners can get them delivered to their door for free?

Topic is the long-published newspaper of the Diocese of New Westminster, published out of the synod office and containing articles from a variety of voices. This month's edition includes Peggy's musings on how the Lenten season just might have similarities to awaiting the birth of a grandchild! You can find a digital copy of this month's issue right here.

And our own Jenn Ashton has another article in our national newspaper, the Anglican Journal. The Anglican Journal has been published since 1875, and 150 years later you can view its latest edition by clicking here. You can see Jenn's article on Reconcili-action! on page 4. 

As with all print media, these Anglican newspapers have grappled to meet the challenges and opportunities of a largely digital media landscape, and continue to do so. But whenever cuts are discussed, readers send a clear message that these papers are a valued part of their Anglican life. We encourage you to subscribe to them, read with interest the contents, and consider contributing a letter or article of your own!
