Vivian ordained to the priesthood

We were delighted by the large turnout of St. Clement's parishioners who were at Christ Church Cathedral to witness the ordination of Vivian to the priesthood, and Tasha and Cameron to the transitional diaconate. 

Vivian is the first Indigenous person to be ordained to the priesthood in this Diocese; one of Vivian's friends read the lesson from Deuteronomy in Cree and Vivian read the Gospel. Wilna and Dave represented St. Clement's as Eucharistic administrators. Thank you to everyone from St. Clement's who supported today's ordinands, and to Kath for her hot-off-the-presses photos!

Vivian will be presiding at the Eucharist at St. Clement's tomorrow, on the first Sunday of Advent. Congratulations, Vivian, and may your ministry be richly blessed as you begin this new stage of your journey!
