We are delighted to welcome kevîn rolston to St Clement's for a field placement through the Vancouver School of Theology. kevîn is passionate about prayer and is planning a series of wine and cheese nights to pair our prayers for different regions of the Anglican Church with local vinos. Take note: kevîn’s favourite cheese is Irish cheddar!
kevîn offers the following words by way of introduction:
“soul~kevîn began his journey planted in the fertile soil of Terra Nova along the middle arm of the river delta, birthed from wandering Celtic Irish seed. After many seasons of being with the shíshálh (Sechelt) people, kevîn has returned to the home of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and Sel̓íl̓witulh Nations — also called here. As a seasoned imagineer, he has entered his flourishing years as a student of Theology along his life~journey as a gardener of soul~being. kevîn is currently growing beyond his understanding of the Divine Gardener into fuller ways of experiencing God~with~us as he breaths toward the priesthood among the orchard of the Anglican Church of Canada. The heart~delight of kevîn’s being is to seek, reflect and generously communicate the Love, Light and Life~Wisdom of The Supreme Gardener’s presence within this very moment.”
Welcome, kevîn!
