St. Clement's spread the good news in all corners of the neighbourhood on Easter Sunday as they looked for the small "disciples" hidden in various parts of Lynn Valley. You can click here for the clues and answers.
There are many congratulations to be offered:
Carson, Christopher and Clara sent in a great set of impressive photos. We were particularly moved by their emotive photo of mournful despair by the closed gate leading to the suspension bridge.
Wilna and Dave get a admiring tip of the hat for their highly organized submission of photos and answers, but sadly they are out of running for the grand prize as a few of the locations were wrong.
The Geoffrion family gets very high marks for great smiles and also the action shot of Noa and Oscar looking fruitlessly for a disciple at Eastview School (because they should actually have been looking in Viewlynn Park!)
Chris and Larry get top marks for being surprise entrants of the day, and extra kudos for personally delivering to the judge the photo-containing iPhone when technological means failed.
But the grand prizes go to.....
ARMCHAIR TRAVELLER: Ms. Maddy Walter, for correctly (and very promptly) submitting her list of answers.
INTREPID HUNTERS: Ms. Katherine Jang and Ms. Phoebe Yong, who not only found every disciple but EACH submitted a selfie with every single one. (Until confirming they were in fact working together as one team, the judge was concerned this would be a repeat of the mother-daughter face off of the Great Mocktail Mix-Off of 2019, which Phoebe is stlll pretty raw about, hahaha!)
Thank you to all who participated, and to Delayne for helping with the hiding of disciples early Sunday morning! The Easter Bunny will be dropping off prize goodies today.
(Psst... the Easter bunny would also like to offer a big thank you for the special card she received in her inbox today!)
