Lynne has been spending her study week representing the Anglican Church as an ecumenical partner at the General Council of the United Church of Canada in Oshawa Ontario.
Lynne writes:
I am learning a lot as I hear about United Church engagement around issues of shared concern with us as Anglicans, such as dismantling racism, implementing recommendations of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission and self-determination of Indigenous people in the church, finding meaningful ways to be inclusive of and celebrating diversity in congregations (race, intercultural, differing abilities, youth, gender identities, etc.)
