Los Posadas is a Mexican tradition where villagers parade around the village pretending to be Mary and Joseph looking for a place to stay. All of the houses that they visit don't let them in, but they do offer them refreshments and everyone sings carols.
In our St Clement's tradition, Mary and Joseph and their donkeys (a knitted version thereof!) travel from Nazareth to Bethlehem staying with friends along the way. The friends that they stay with is us. They bring other friends with them to visit too.
When you sign up for a day, Mary and Joseph will come with friends to visit at your place or meet up at a coffee shop. Then, they will stay with you overnight. The next day you will take Mary and Joseph to their next friend's house. Before you leave you will have a little visit with these friends too.
