Helen showered with wedding wishes

A beautiful summer evening was made even lovelier by the well wishes, company, flowers, cake and refreshments at Helen's wedding shower that took place on June 23. 

Women of the parish were delighted to celebrate Helen and Andi's upcoming wedding with a traditional(ish) shower that included games and a floral crown that far outshone the usual ribbon-and-bow affair (thank you, Olivia!)

The Bishop's chair was repurposed for the occasion and turned into one suitable for an honoured bride (thank you, Bishop John!)

Decorations (thank you, Faivre-Duboz et al!) and platters of food and drink (thank you to many!) all combined to make for a special evening. Helen hopes that as many of her St. Clement's family as possible will join her and Andi at the wedding ceremony on August 20 at Christ Church Cathedral.
