We are looking forward to celebrating Christmas with old friends and new at St. Clement’s Anglican Church. We love welcoming many of the neighbourhood youngsters to a gathering of Christmas stories and songs at 4 p.m., and this year we are putting out a special invitation to people of all ages for the 7 p.m. Eucharist, where we will have hot drinks and goodies, and a special welcome kit for children. Communion, candles and carols will be enjoyed again at 10 p.m. for those who like a late-night worship experience on Christmas Eve. Here are all St. Clement's Christmas services, in a nutshell, as well as the regional services we will celebrate together:
Blue Christmas: A North Van regional service for those who are feeling loss or carrying burdens, hosted this year by St. Andrew's United (1044 St. George's) at 7pm.
Christmas pageant: Sunday, Dec. 23 at 9:45 a.m., St. Clement's
Christmas Eve at St. Clement's
4 p.m: Carols and stories for the youngest
7 p.m: Communion service, with welcome kit for children and refreshments
10 p.m: Christmas Communion
