Farewell to André

Well, the weather cooperated, even if the world wide web didn't! Our livestream inexplicably failed just as Lynley's wonderful "Joyful, Joyful" wrapped up and we were about to make a farewell presentation to André in the front garden.

As the link remained stubbornly non-functional, we hopped over to a new Facebook Live feed to say our goodbyes, and you can have a look at that right here.

Shortly thereafter a steady stream of cars began to roll through the parking lot, with parishioners on board wanting to wish André well as he prepares to depart for Europe. It was wonderful to see so many people again IRL ("in real life") and to enjoy a few minutes' chat while drivers waited in line. 

André then popped onto Zoom to say an online goodbye to a few folks before leaving us with his keys, his thanks and his best wishes.
