A handful of St. Clement's "ambassadors" took greetings and goodies to St. John the Evangelist church on Sunday, May 12, to treat their parishioners to a Mother's Day coffee hour.
St. John's is the "mother church" to all the other Anglican parishes in North Vancouver, and as this is St. John's 125th anniversary year, we thought it was about time to give "Mom" a treat.
The St. John's parishioners were effusively welcoming, even gifting each St. Clement's ambassador with a St. John's 125th anniversary mug. All in all, the experience was a good reminder of the joy to be found in offering mutual friendship and encouragement to our fellow Anglicans in the deanery and beyond.
